Janet Jackson just left Virgin Records to join her boyfriend Jermaine Dupri at Island Def Jam. Hher career will now be masterminded by the label’s Ceo Antonio ‘L.A.’ Reid.
This is what Dupri had to say about the new Reid:
“I let him deal with that on a day-to-day basis… Janet’s record is one that he’s wanted to do for a long time. He’s very passionate about it”.
“I’m going to do Mariah, and we’re going to make it seem like we’re in competition to see who’s going to have the biggest album of the year”.
Now that's pretty strange, Jermaine is going to work hard to help Mariah's comeback while Janet desperately needs a great comeback herself. Well let's see what will come out of it, maybe both albums will be great!
