Alicia Keys Covers Blender

Alicia Keys covers the May/June issue of "Blender" Magazine. In this issue she mentions that she is convinced that rappers Tupac and Biggie Smalls were assassinated as part of the government’s plan “to stop another great black leader from existing.”

She goes on to say that gangsta rap was also a ploy by the government to “convince black people to kill each other.”

Alicia also tells "Blender" that she wears a gold AK-47 pendant around her neck "to symbolize strength, power and killing 'em dead." She also opens up about a tough time she faced right after hitting it big in the music industry.

"I was hanging off the edge of a cliff," the piano master revealed. "Something had to give, or I was gonna lose my mind." Her manager said Alicia's depression resulted in "dark, weird" music.
Now, Alicia is better and is working a different angle.

"I'm discovering my sexual side," she says. "I recorded this song ... it's so sensual, it moves you."

Lots of juicy info in this issue, make sure to get it!
