Erykah Badu "Real Thang" Contest Remix

Universal/Motown multi-platinum-selling, Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter/actress Erykah Badu takes the spotlight with her new album New Amerykah. Erykah Badu has enlisted some of the most talented, underground producers and engineers in the hip-hop game to support her fourth studio album in seven years, including producer 9th Wonder, Madlib, Sa-Ra Creative Partners, Karriem Riggins, and a host of others. "The music is the star," says Erykah, "I just laid down my vocals and let the music breathe while the melodies tell the stories."

Emerging and established DJ's, producers/beat makers, and musicians can get in the mix as part of Erykah Badu "Real Thang" campaign and contest. Just download the acappella version of "Real Thang", originally produced by Madlib, and remix it. .Creativity is key, so all types of remixes are welcomed (hip-hop, r&b/soul, house, broken beat, rock, reggae, etc.). Produced buzz track "Real Thang" is a special buzz track which does not appear on New Amerykah.

The grand winner will receive:
