Beyonce & Jay-Z were keeping busy celebrating the holiday in St Barts on Tuesday December 30rd, 2008. Both of them were continuing on with their Caribbean fun.

Beyonce Knowles and her hubby Jay Z ventured out on a yacht to catch some rays, with she riding a jet ski while Jay took pictures of his lady in action.

Meanwhile, Beyonce explained in a recent interview with Elle magazine.

Knowles said “I grew up upper-class,”“Private school, My dad had a Jaguar. We’re African-American and we work together as a family, so people assume we’re like the Jacksons. But I didn’t have parents using me to get out of a bad situation.”

New Bria Valente Song on MPLSOUND

Prince's latest protege Bria Valente can currently be heard on MPLSOUND, and below. "Here I Come" made its debut last year on Prince's Jam of the Month on 3121.com. Bria was spotted with Prince at a Lakers-Celtics game, amongst many other celebrities. It looks like Bria's album might finally come out soon.

R&B songstress Ashanti performed "Shine" on Good Morning NY earlier this week. The song, which is a cut from latest album "The Declaration", features on the soundtrack for Will Smith's latest movie "Seven Pounds".

P. Diddy says "Merry Christmas" + Gives Away iPods to the Homeless

Diddy will reportedly be giving away free iPod Nanos in the first few weeks of the New Year to the homeless in New York and Los Angeles. The iPod will come stock with all of his songs, of course, as well as inspirational tunes.

Here's an idea for Diddy, why not give away food or shelter for the homeless. At the very most, they might be able to sell their iPods to get money for food and shelter. Honestly, this really doesn't make sense, but hey when you're a star anything goes.

Daughtry, David Cook, and more - Perform on Fox's "New Year's Eve Live"

Fox is offering an amazing line-up of musical guests to welcome the New Year on their "New Year's Eve Live" show. Daughtry will be performing at the show on Wednesday, December 31 at 11:00 P.M. - 12:30 A.M. ET live; CT/MT/PT tape-delayed.

Other performances include this year's American Idol winner, David Cook, former Velvet Revolver's frontman Scott Weiland and rock 'n' roll band Lynyrd Skynyrd will also be seen at the show's stage, singing some of their hit singles.

The show will be hosted by Spike Feresten and Mark Thompson. The event will be joined by special correspondent Chrissy Russo of KSWB/FOX 5 San Diego. During the event, he will present a segment for special interviews and a behind-the-scenes look at three of Cirque du Soleil's Las Vegas shows; "Zumanity, The Sensual Side of Cirque du Soleil", "The Beatles LOVE" and the new "CRISS ANGEL Believe".

Rihanna - "Good Girl Gone Bad" Remixed

Rihanna is set to release "Good Girl Gone Bad" for the third time on January 27th.

"Good Girl Gone Bad: The Remixes" features remixed versions of 12 tracks from the album's first and second releases including "Disturbia", "Take A Bow" and "Umbrella".

Apparently, this is the only album you'll get from Rihanna next year, a source reveals that her fourth album wouldn't be hitting stores in 2009.

It seems that her record label just doesn't want to stop milking that album. Cash wise, Rihanna will make more money, however as an artist there's not much you can do with this.

Beyonce gave her fans a special Christmas present this year, two new videos!

"Diva" and "Halo" (The video features actor Michael Ealy as the leading guy).

Just like "Single Ladies" and "If I Were A Boy", these two new videos show Beyonce's alter ego Sasha Fierce, and a softer side of her, which we know as Beyonce.

It's a good strategy, there's something for everyone here. Whether you like Sasha or Beyonce better, or both!

Beyonce Knowles celebrates Christmas today with the No. 1 song on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, as "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It) begins a 3rd and 6th week atop them, respectively. The track sold 149,000 downloads in the US, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Beyonce is great. She's the greatest. She's the best artist of our generation. is awesome. Beyonce is the total package--talent, looks and charisma. The woman just has it going on. you're a babe, So hot. Plus, she's a very good artist. That's rare these days. rocks. Great single and great album. Queen B rules.

I finally just got the Single Ladies routine down, and now I'm learning Diva. Beyonce keep giving her the great dance songs. Also, I love the ballads on the I Am side. I can't stop dancing to whole Sasha Fierce side.

Beyonce - Tour W/ X Factor Winner?

Beyonce is Hot on the heels of reports. Knowles' set to team up with 50 Cent, X Factor winner Alexandra Burke is reportedly set to hit the road with R&B superstar Beyonce Knowles.

Beyonce is the current European record holder for single sales over a period of 24 hours, selling 105,000 copies of her debut single, Hallelujah, in one day. She is planning to tour - AND record a single - with the former Destiny's Child star.

Beyoncé married rapper Jay-Z in a secret ceremony earlier this year. She will perform in London, Birmingham, and Manchester in May and it is believed Alex will support.

A source tells The People newspaper, "Beyoncé was blown away by Alex.

"She thought she had exceptional talent and told her so during their rehearsal for last week's performance of Listen.

"In the dressing room, Beyoncé told Alex she'd like to work with her in the future and suggested the possibility of recording a new single together. She also said she'd love Alex to take part in her UK tour, possibly as a support act, although nothing is set in stone yet.

"After their duet last week Beyoncé then told X Factor supremo SIMON COWELL 'I want to work with this lady. She is going to be a massive star'.

"Alex couldn't believe what she hearing.

"Beyoncé is one of her all-time heroes and to be given her approval is like a dream come true.

"Beyoncé was outstanding and really helped Alex shine."

Aaliyah Biopic Scheduled For 2009

Canadian R&B star Keisha Chante has reportedly been casted to portray Aaliyah in an upcoming biopic about the late R&B superstar.

During her career, Aaliyah sold 32 million albums worldwide and was nominated for five Grammys.

The biopic is scheduled to open in theaters in 2009.

Rihanna - Star Academy Performances

Rihanna appeared on-stage for a live performance at French TV singing contest "Star Academy". She performed two of her songs from her 2007 Album "Good Girl Gone Bad", "Umbrella" and "Rehab", on the season finale of the TV talent show on December 19th.

Scheduled to be recorded in early 2009, Rihanna's new album will feature new works from Chris Brown. He said, "I actually have a couple of songs written already that would be dope collaborations between me and her. And I'm writing for her new album now."

New India.Arie Song - "Chocolate High"

India.Arie returns with her fourth album, "Testimony: Vol. 2, Love & Politics", and the lead single from it, “Chocolate High”, features her good friend Musiq.

Testimony: Vol. 2, Love & Politics, is scheduled for release on February 10, 2009.

India.Arie and Anthony David have been nominated for a Grammy Award in the category of "Best R&B Duo/Group" for their song "Words". The Grammy Awards will take place on February 8th, in Los Angeles.

New U2 Album - "No Line On The Horizon"

U2 have revealed that their next album will be titled "No Line On The Horizon". Their 12 album will be released on March 3rd. Their new album was supposed to drop at the end of this year, however due to the firing of producer Rick Rubin, it has taken U2 longer to complete the last songs of "No Line On The Horizon".

"I met with the guys in U2, and they say to me, 'You know what? This album needs two more songs, and it will be exactly what we have in mind.' I go there and I listen, and I agreed with them," Interscope-Geffen-A&M chairman Jimmy Iovine told Billboard last month. "It's a great record, but it deserves the time. Labels need to work with artists to help them achieve their best work, not to jam records out that are half-baked or three-quarters baked."

Here are Bonos' comments on the new album:

"I'm always the one who underestimates how easy it is to simply 'put out the songs now.' If it was just up to me they'd be out already! But early next year people will be able to start hearing what we've been doing. We want 2009 to be our year, so we're going to start making an impression very early on."

The tracking list hasn't been announced yet.
